OREGON CITY, Or. -- A Colton man who repeatedly sent sexually explicit pictures of himself to underage teenage girls and attempted to meet them for sexual encounters was sentenced Wednesday to 110 months.
Levi Forrest Wallace, 45, pled guilty to charges in two separate cases.
Wallace is a registered sex offender. He was convicted of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor in 2000 and Public Indecency in 2010. Wallace is a Level III sex offender, the highest ranking under Oregon Law.
"This defendant is a sexual predator who, when confronted by law enforcement, fled the country, only to return and continue his attempts to sexually victimize children for his own gratification," said Deputy District Attorney Alex Hayes, who prosecuted the case. "Mr. Wallace's outrageous criminal behavior justifies this 110-month sentence."
On May 14, 2024, law enforcement officers conducted an online operation. An FBI agent posing as a 14-year-old girl named Ashley used a chat application to communicate with adults. The agent began communicating with Wallace.
Within a day, Wallace, believing he was dealing with a child, discussed their age difference, asked if she wanted to have sex, used sexually explicit language and sent her several used sexually explicit pictures of himself.
Wallace agreed to meet Ashley but did not show up at an arranged meeting site.
About a week after his initial contact with Ashley, Wallace traveled to Taiwan on a tourist visa. After entering the country, authorities learned of his sex offender status. He was located after 36 days and deported.
Wallace pled guilty to Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the Second Degree and Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree (Clackamas County Circuit Court case 25CR23699).
On March 31, 2026, a detective started conversing with Wallace on a different chat application portraying herself as 16-year-old girl.
Wallace told her he wanted to get to know her better, sent a nude photo of himself, asked for her phone number and they began texting.
Over the next week, Wallace communicated with the girl using graphic sexual language describing his interests and sent her sexually explicit pictures of himself.
Wallace pled guilty to Luring a Minor and two counts of Attempted Use of a Child in a Display of Sexually Explicit Conduct (Clackamas County Circuit Court case 26CR21120).
During the investigation, detectives found evidence that between December 2025 and April 2026, Wallace communicated in a similar fashion with nine girls who stated they were between the ages of 14 and 17.
"Let this be a reminder of the importance of online supervision for those with children; the defendant was using applications that are accessible to anyone with a smartphone," Hayes said.
